These classes are called tailored tai chi  because learning is tailored to meet the needs of beginners.

Tai Chi classes designed for those who want to experience the physical and emotional benefits of this mind-body practice. Through slow controlled movements and mindfulness, stress and pain can be reduced and overall health can be improved.  The movements for this class where chosen from a simplified version of the Yang style Tai Chi which was designed for promoting health and wellness (rather than for martial arts).   Most of the movements are done in standing with a few done sitting in a chair.  A carefully planned curriculum makes learning enjoyable.
